"AHHAC delivered our 22-zone underfloor system on time, on budget and to spec. The crew were tidy, the documentation was thorough, and the commissioning was textbook."

Hydronic heating, cooling and hot water for Katoomba homes — designed and installed by AHHAC, Blue Mountains's hydronic specialists, from our nearest showroom in Punchbowl.

ImmergasSimeThermaSkirt™At around 1,000 metres elevation, Katoomba has the coldest winters in the Sydney region — frost, occasional snow and long stretches below 10 °C — which makes it prime hydronic country. The Upper Blue Mountains' mix of Federation cottages, Art Deco homes and modern rebuilds calls for heating that's warm, even and quiet, and that copes with genuinely cold design temperatures. AHHAC designs and installs the full hydronic range across Katoomba, Leura, Wentworth Falls and Blackheath: underfloor heating, European panel radiators and cold-rated heat pumps.
Because Katoomba gets genuinely cold, unit selection matters. We favour the Maxa i-290, rated to −25 °C ambient, so it holds output through Mountains frosts where lesser heat pumps fade — and for off-grid or wood-rich properties a hydronic wood or pellet burner makes a superb heat source or backup. We serve the Mountains from our Punchbowl showroom, part of AHHAC Blue Mountains.

"We've worked with AHHAC for 17 years. They've installed and serviced our hot water plant across three commercial buildings — and they pick up the phone on weekends."
"Three mobs quoted us; AHHAC's design was the only one based on a proper heat-loss calculation. The system runs beautifully — the others would've been oversized and expensive."
